A. Player quality estimation
Players are the atomic unit. Bookmakers underweight player-level signals because most retail markets are still priced off team form. If we can convert lineup changes (injuries, rotations, transfers) into a quantified strength delta faster and more accurately than the market, that's a direct edge — especially in markets that do price lineups (player props, team totals after late team news).
